Blimpie Sandwich

 Blimpie Sandwich

Blimpie is a popular chain of sandwich shops that offer a variety of delicious subs and sandwiches. While I don't have access to their exact recipe, I can provide a general recipe for a classic Blimpie sandwich that you can make at home.

Ingredients:

  • Sub roll or hoagie roll
  • Sliced deli meat (turkey, ham, roast beef, etc.)
  • Sliced cheese (Swiss, cheddar, provolone, etc.)
  • Lettuce
  • Tomatoes
  • Onions
  • Pickles
  • Oil and vinegar
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Cut the sub roll or hoagie roll in half, but not all the way through. You want to create a pocket for the fillings.
  3. Layer the sliced deli meat and sliced cheese on one half of the roll.
  4. Add the lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and pickles on top of the meat and cheese.
  5. Drizzle with oil and vinegar and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  6. Close the sandwich and wrap it tightly in aluminum foil.
  7. Place the wrapped sandwich in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the bread is warm and toasty.
  8. Remove from the oven, unwrap the sandwich, and enjoy!

Note: You can customize this sandwich to your liking by using different meats, cheeses, and toppings. You can also add mayo, mustard, or other condiments if desired.
